Harbor seals (Phoca vitulina) appeared to habituate to acoustic harassment devices placed on gillnets in the Oregon salmon fishery. Results, although inconclusive, demonstrate a possible reduction in ??˛damaged??ˇ salmon, at least in the short-term.
