Summary
Bird-scaring lines and an underwater setting funnel reduced seabird bycatch in longlines off the coast of Norway. Catch of haddock (Melanogrammus aeglefinus), torsk (Brosme brosme), and ling (Molva molva) increased with use of the underwater setting funnel.
